| In
accordance with newly introduced economic policy which is deemed
to bring about effective economic development of the country
former Ministry of Planning and Finance was reorganised in February
1993 into two Ministries as Ministry of National Planning and
Economic Development and Ministry of Finance and Revenue. Former
Ministry of Planning, and Finance itself was a merger of the
Ministry of Finance and Revenue and Ministry of Planning which
were combined at the time of the Government of the Revolutionary
council. |
