Development Initiative (HDI) Phase IV has been implemented in
63 townships in Chin, Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon, Kayah,
Northern Shan States , Delta, Dry Zone, Yangon and Mandalay
Division with the assistance of UNDP covering in the areas:
Primary Health Care, HIV/AIDS prevention, Community Water Supply
and Sanitation, Primary Education, Environment and Food security,
Community Development for Remote Townships and Program Facilities
for 2002-2007. Eighty Two percent of the total expenditure was
already utilized as of 2007 March. |

Myanmar –UNICEF Country Programme Action Plan (2006-2010),
(15) projects are being implemented in the five sectors, namely,
Health and Nutrition Promotion, Water Supply, Environmental
Sanitation and Hygiene, Comprehensive Quality Education, Child
Protection and Social Sector Analysis, Planning and Monitoring
with UNICEF inputs of US$106.13 million.
